Weddings and servers

Bryan and Alexia's wedding vowsBig happenings for microPledge co-founder Bryan Hoyt … on the weekend we went down south to Oamaru for his wedding. A superb time was had by all. Bryan’s away for two weeks with Alexia on their money-hoon, and we wish them well.

All microPledge personnel went to the wedding, and I’m afraid Murphy made his appearance at the festivities while (of course) we were all out of town. Just as we had nicely settled into said festivities, microPledge went down.

We were notified remotely, but it wasn’t until late that evening that one of us could get back to straighten things out. It was just a network issue, so there were no side effects besides being out of service for a while.

In short, we’re very sorry for Saturday’s longish outage. Our bad. We’re back in town now, and we’re taking pro-active measures to minimise problems like this in future, including working with a better ISP. We’ll keep you posted.

But we don’t want to forget the highlights: Congrats Bryan & Alexia! May God grant you a long and happy marriage.
